C7- LANGUAGE TASK

Here you will find spot to share your language task (30%) with your classmates and anyone else who roams the internet.

Objective: Personal insight about the story “Green Eggs and Ham” through a well-informed discourse (presentation) that is related to the underlying message of the story.

Duration: 60 - 120 Minutes

Instructions:

1. Listen carefully to the story “Green Eggs and Ham”.
2. Look at the following questions:

Ø What do the green eggs and ham represent?

Ø How can this story be related to life? Have you lived or contributed to a situation similar to the story?

Ø Who is the message addressed to?

Ø What is your opinion on the matter? Provide factual information.

Ø What can be done to remedy this type of situation?

3. Platform: PowerPoint, Moovly or Prezi.
4. Resources: Computer and internet.
5. Duration: 5 – 10 minutes

Criteria:

• Type of text: Argumentative (2 – 3 points of argument with supported claims).
• Linguistic: All the content covered in class.
• Live Presentation (NO READING)
